For his part, the Director of the Municipality, Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, confirmed that the initiative to distribute roses to visitors of Al Hamriya on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr comes as an embodiment of the approach of the Emirate of Sharjah in enhancing community values, and strengthening the meanings of cohesion and communication among community members. He said: "We at Al Hamriya Municipality are keen to make holidays, foremost among them Eid al-Fitr, an opportunity to enhance bonds of love and communication with community members, and to share their joys, as these initiatives represent a humanitarian message that reflects the spirit of the UAE, which is based on giving and tolerance." He added: "This initiative is part of a series of community events that the municipality implements throughout the year, out of its commitment to its role in achieving community happiness and quality of life, and its keenness for Al Hamriya to remain a vibrant destination that reflects the authentic values of the Emirati community," noting that Al Hamriya Municipality continues to launch qualitative initiatives that contribute to enhancing social cohesion, and support Sharjah's vision of building an integrated community governed by happiness.
